Actively provided information is anything you knowingly submit when registering, using the platform, or getting in touch with us.
Automatically gathered information is data our systems collect in the background as a normal part of delivering the service.

When you access Traderun via web or mobile, our servers log standard activity data. This may include your IP address, device type and operating system version, the features and screens you access, and the time and date of that activity.
Device Permissions
Our mobile app may request access to the following capabilities on your device:

- Microphone

- Phone and SMS
- Storage, photos and media
- Location
- Notifications
These permissions are used only to deliver specific features within the app. You can manage permissions at any time through your device settings.
Account Information
When you register for Traderun we collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Business name and trade information
User-Generated Content
We consider user-generated content to be any records, documents, photos, or files you create or upload through the platform. This includes job details, customer information, site addresses, test results, compliance certificates, and photos. This content belongs to you and is stored on your behalf.
Please be aware that certain documents you generate through Traderun, such as certificates shared with customers or third parties, may be accessible outside the platform once distributed.
Collection and Use of Information
We may collect your personal information when you:
- Create a Traderun account
- Use our web platform or mobile app
- Upload photos, documents or certificates
- Enable inbound communication channels such as phone, email or WhatsApp
- Contact us for support or make an enquiry
We collect, hold, use, and may disclose your information for the following purposes:
- To provide the core features and services of the platform
- To handle inbound calls, emails, and messages on your behalf via our AI
- To store and manage your job records, compliance documentation, and certificates
- To process your subscription payments
- For internal record keeping and administration
- For analytics, product research, and improving our features
- For security monitoring and fraud prevention
- For marketing and product updates, where you have opted in
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.

Data Security

Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to comply with our legal obligations.

Your personal information may be stored or processed outside the United Kingdom by the third-party providers we work with. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR, including contractual protections that meet the standards required by UK data protection law.
Minimum Age
Traderun is a professional platform intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16 and our service is not directed at them.
UK Data Protection
For the purposes of UK GDPR, Traderun Ltd is the data controller with respect to the personal information you provide. We process your data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate business interests, and where applicable, your consent.
Your Rights
You have the right to make choices about your personal data. Specifically, you can:
